BCS@Home Hybrid Options
The BCS@Home Hybrid Program is a way for students to experience classroom learning for one day a week, while maintaining the flexibility of at-home learning for the remaining four days of the week. Families must be registered with BCS@Home in order to apply, and students are accepted on the basis of space availability, academic fit and support of the BCS@Home mission and vision. Acceptance may require a family interview. Once accepted, your family will receive a Notification of Acceptance letter detailing your acceptance.
Along with a more traditional hybrid program, we are also offering a Nature School program. A brief description of the two programs are below.
1. BCS@Home Hybrid Program
Our BCS@Home Hybrid Program fully covers Science, Fine Arts, Physical Education and Bible, with a one-day-a-week, face-to-face learning experience at various locations across the city for Grades 1-6. The hybrid program covers 45 per cent of a student’s educational program, and has a program fee of $1200/student.
2. BCS@Home Nature School
The BCS@Home Nature School is in partnership with Rediscover Play, and follows a similar format to the Outdoor Adventures that have been such a hit with our families over our last school year! The Nature School is available for Grades 1-9, and features a weekly nature day at Bearspaw Christian School. Please see the attached information package for more details.
We look forward to having you join us in this new adventure! Families must be registered with BCS@Home for the 2021/22 year in order to apply for any of the above programs, so if you have not yet done that, please feel free to reach out via the “How to Apply” contact form, and we’ll get that process started.
