I am excited to be part of the BCS@Home team and to share my knowledge and passion for home education in this way. I received my Bachelor of Education from Trinity Western University and upon graduation taught at a Christian school for several years. I have spent the last 14 years working for a Distributed Learning school in B.C. This position gave me a new understanding and love for home learning, as I partnered with families in their home education journey.
My husband and I have 3 teenage children and a Jack Russell terrier. We moved to Airdrie last summer, from B.C., and are thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to get connected and plugged into a new community. We have homeschooled since kindergarten and have loved learning with our children in this capacity. I’m very thankful for the close relationship that we share as a family and the ability that the Lord has given us to pour into our children’s lives in such a unique way. I love to spend time outside, and you can often find me walking our dog; she has a lot of energy! I also enjoy baking and gardening.
I look forward to partnering with BCS@Home families, helping to educate and equip children for God’s glory.
